The premises provide purpose-designed facilities for Dialight Lumidrives’ research and development laboratory together with expanded production and storage capabilities. It also includes an LED applications centre to demonstrate the full potential of LED technology in a range of uses.
The company says that its move from its previous base in nearby Knaresborough lays the foundation for continued growth and will help it continue to expand its technically skilled workforce.
Alison Ambler, operations director says: "I am delighted by our continued growth and the new premises will enable us to devote additional resource to R&D which is the lifeblood of our ongoing success."
Founded in 2001, Dialight Lumidrives was one of the first companies to realize the potential of high powered LED technology in illumination applications. It specializes in the development of components to enable applications in solid state lighting, including power drivers, LED arrays and optics.
