The LED based recessed can light is designed for accent lighting, focused recessed reading lights, and directed recessed lighting of artwork within a residential application. Designed to fit any existing 4" recessed can the ENBC4 series consumes a mere 5 Watts and is offered in Cool White or Warm White LED technology. The dimmable electronic ballast is enclosed in the recessed can trim and runs off of line voltage (110VAC) and can be dimmed with any off-the-shelf dimmer using Permlight’s patented and patent pending architecture.Providing comparable light output to a 25 watt incandescent or 20 watt halogen the ENBC4 series has the advantage of running at extremely low temperatures and not requiring a remotely mounted low voltage transformer which reduces installed cost.“The new 4" recessed can trim highlights our focus on the residential lighting market,” commented Manuel Lynch, President and CEO of Permlight Products. “Home builders have asked us to continue to develop lighting solutions that will replace all home lighting with an LED equivalent. The ENBC4 series also features an adjustable tilt mechanism to allow the recessed light to be focused onto a wall or artwork that is perpendicular to the ceiling. The ENBC4 Series comes standard with a medium screw base adapter.The series is alternatively available in 12-24VAC/DC input for replacement of halogen systems in yachts and RVs.
