Next Generation Driver Delivers DALI-2 Digital Controls and Wireless Programmable Outputs to Save Energy, Time and Money in LED Lighting Installations.
Moorpark, CA – ERP Power LLC (“ERP”), a leading provider of small, smart and connected LED drivers for the lighting industry, today announced the world’s smallest programmable output drivers with DALI-2 digital controls for indoor lighting applications will be demonstrated May 21-23 at LIGHTFAIR® International 2019 in Philadelphia. ERP Power programmable LED drivers certified to support the DALI-2 standard are expected to appear in the DiiA product database in the next 90 days.

The patent-pending power electronics design includes 30W and 50W constant current models which help LED lighting fixture manufacturers meet the technical requirements of the Digital Illumination Interface Alliance (DiiA), ENERGY STAR®, California Title 24 and the DesignLights Consortium (DLC) specifications. Product certification by DiiA promises significantly improved interoperability and additional functionality compared to the current DALI systems on the market. The UL Class P next generation ERP driver design provides power density three times higher than similar capacity drivers in the industry; programmable output for flexible deployment in a broad range of constant current applications; and high efficiency to reduce electricity consumption. The new ERP drivers are designed in California and built to last with a 5-year limited warranty.Programmable Output
Customers can deploy a single driver across multiple lighting fixtures if the power output is programmable. Programmable output LED drivers lower inventory costs in the lighting fixture manufacturer’s supply chain. The ERP next generation driver output is high efficiency with standby power consumption less than 0.5 Watts and fully programmable in a wide range of output currents while maintaining efficiency of 90% from 50-100% of load with power factor greater than 0.9 and THD less than 20%.
Wireless Programming
The new ERP DALI-2 LED drivers use wireless NFC communications to securely program output power and dimming parameters. The wireless NFC programming enables tuning of fixture lumen output with 1 mA resolution to ensure specified lumen output over time, and precise fixture-to-fixture lumen matching for specific project requirements and installation locations.
