Nima Jafarian is the product and marketing manager for the 2mm domed emitter portfolio at Philips Lumileds. He has previously held roles in product management and process integration engineering at Analog Devices, National Semiconductor, Peregrine Semiconductor, and Sony Computer Entertainment of America. He earned his BSEECS from UC Berkeley, his MSEE from Santa Clara University, and an MBA from the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego.

Eric Senders is the segment marketing manager for Philips Lumileds with a focus on accelerating the adoption of LEDs in the Retail & Hospitality market. He received his Masters in Business Administration from Tilburg University (Netherlands) in 2002. During his first several years at Philips, he was involved in the introduction of LED-based phosphors and the successful launch of the paradigm changing MASTER LED retrofit lamp product line which was brought to market in 2008 as a first LED replacement for halogen bulbs. As a marketing manager at Philips Lumileds, Mr. Senders works with lighting designers, architects and specifiers to accelerate the use of LEDs in general lighting applications, especially in downlights and spotlights. Together with luminaire manufacturers and market influencers, like municipalities and utilities, he is working on the next generation of solutions with LUXEON® LEDs.

Dale Kane, segment marketing manager for LED lighting at Philips Lumileds, is in charge of driving best in class solid-state lighting adoption, establishing roadmaps, trends, and product needs for municipal and commercial outdoor, architectural, and industrial LED lighting. Before joining Philips Lumileds, he was with DuPont working in the solar and semiconductor industries. He holds a Chemical Engineering degree from Michigan State and an MBA from UC Berkeley.
