Dominant clarifies outcome of Osram patent case

A recent LED patent ruling by the International Trade Commission (ITC) resulted in a partial victory for both protagonists, Osram Opto Semiconductors and Dominant Semiconductor (see Related Stories, right).

Dominant LED products According to a Dominant spokesperson, some of its customers have wrongly assumed that the patent ruling affects all of Dominant's products. In fact, the ruling prevents Dominant from importing and selling its Power DomiLED product range in the US.
