CAO Group has promoted Gary Maag to General Manager of its Optoelectronics Division, with overall responsibility for the division’s three business units: components, solid state signage, and solid state lighting.

Maag had been Director of the Signage Business Unit since joining the company early last year from Autometer, specialty suppliers to the automotive industry, a major market for CAO components and LED-PCB assemblies.

CAO Group founder, president and CEO Densen Cao said Maag’s new position will add coherence to CAO Group’s mix of horizontal structuring for engineering and operations and vertical structuring for sales.
