Lux-TSI makes two senior appointments to its UK division for testing and certification of LED lighting products

Pencoed, Cardiff - Lux-TSI is pleased to announce two new senior appointments to its UK leadership team as part of its growth in the testing and certification of LED lighting products.

Menno Schakel joins the company as Senior Technical Expert from Philips Lighting and will lead the team of expert engineers and consultants to support manufacturers with the Performance Testing of Lighting products including photometry, photobiological testing, life and endurance testing for CE marking and schemes such as Lighting Facts, Energy Star, Design Lights Consortium and California Energy Commission. Menno is active in international standards committee including CIE where he is heading up a new programme to develop a CIE standard for the proper measurement of flicker in LED lighting.

Peter Dobromylski joins the company as Technical Sales Manager and has over 20 years of experience in the electronics industry formerly at Spirit Circuits. Peter will work as part of a team led by our Sales and Marketing Director, David Mudd a recognised leader in LED lighting formerly of Photonstar LED. Both provide enhanced support to increase our knowledge sharing with the UK lighting industry and support our activities in Asia and Central Eastern Europe
