Organizers are offering two free hotel nights in Seoul to foreign buyers attending LED EXPO, FPD Korea EXPO and LIGHTING SIGN Korea

Organizers of the International FPD/LED/Lighting Sign Korea EXPO are offering two free hotel nights in Seoul as a special, one-time incentive to foreign buyers who plan to attend Asia’s most comprehensive exhibition for the LED, sign, and flat panel display industries.

The two free nights at the deluxe Lotte Hotel in Seoul is good for the first 50 companies that call to take advantage of the offer by May 10, 2007.

The 3-in-1 trade event will be held at KINTEX in Korea from May 29-June 1, 2007. The previously combined LED EXPO and International FPD Korea has expanded in 2007 to cover the lighted sign industry. Lighting Sign Korea will add 200 booths to the 400 booths of International FPD Korea and LED EXPO.

Attendance at the LED/FPD event in 2006 topped 17,000 with a 26% jump in international visitors from Asia, North America, Europe and Africa.

Show organizers are also offering to arrange private, one-on-one meetings between buyers and exhibitors.

A three-day International Seminar on LEDs, Displays and Lighting is a highlight of the 2007 EXPO. The program includes a distinguished roster of international speakers as well as representatives from Korean industry heavyweights like Samsung and LG-Philips. Optoelectronics Industry Development Association (OIDA) president Michael Lebby is hosting a display session and is a co-chair of the FPD seminar. Chris Williams, director of the UK Displays & Lighting Knowledge Transfer Network is also a featured speaker.

Twenty-nine individual presentations will cover the latest developments in LEDs, lightings and displays. Seminar topics include advances in AMOLED fabrication and display resolution, developments in LCD BLU’s, the newest LED commercial applications, the next generation in touch screen technology, recent developments in HID lamp efficacy, industry roadmaps, and much more.

More than 400 attendees are expected for this year’s seminars.
