Keystone Technologies introduces Class P Driver program for LED lighting

Feb. 10, 2017
Keystone Technologies, a leader in lighting technology for over 70 years, has announced that 29 of their LED Drivers have been listed as Class P by Underwriter’s Laboratory (UL). Keystone’s Class P LED driver program offers luminaire manufacturers easy access to driver resources that already comply with the stringent safety requirements of UL. With the Class P rating, the drivers do not have to be recertified or retested, resulting in significant savings of both time and money for manufacturers.

The Class P program has defined evaluation and testing guidelines for standardized LED driver construction and ratings. Luminaire manufacturers have gained flexibility in sourcing drivers that both meet their product design needs and have already secured the needed UL rating.
“We are always looking for ways to better serve our OEM customers,” said Ira Greenberg, CEO of Keystone. “It was important for Keystone to offer a Class P LED Driver program to help manufacturers contain costs, expedite product development, and get new products into the marketplace quickly. It’s a perfect example of Light Made Easy.”

Keystone will continue to add drivers to their Class P program. For a current list of Keystone Class P drivers, please check: http://keystonetech.com/all-products/led-drivers/class-p-drivers/
