David Ciccarelli

David Ciccarelli is the Vice President of Dynamic Lighting at Acuity Brands. With thirteen years of experience in solid-state lighting, Ciccarelli is responsible for guiding Acuity Brands from a technical and market-facing perspective – specifically in the transition from LEDification to fully networked mainstream dynamic lighting. In his role, he builds upon technologies from classic dynamic lighting to create new, innovative features and effects for Acuity Brands customers. He received a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Penn State University and a M.S. in Thermo-Fluids Engineering from Northeastern University. Previous to his hire at Acuity Brands, Ciccarelli was the Global Platform Manager for Architectural Light Effects at a major lighting manufacturer.
