Philip Smallwood

Phillip Smallwood, director of LED & Lighting Research at Strategies Unlimited, was most recently the research manager for the Component Price Tracker and Component Health Watch group at IHS and an internal consultant for the company's Lighting and LEDs group. Previous to managing this group, he was the lead lighting analyst at IHS and author of the 2011 and 2012 Lighting reports. He conducted extensive research on the global lamp and luminaire markets with a particular interest in the effect LEDs are having on incumbent technologies.
