Tempo Industries introduces the Series 5000 line of of mid-range linear LED lighting solutions. The Series 5000 is a 120-volt solution offered in standard linking six-inch modules, and is shipped in up to six-foot lengths that can be joined into runs of up to 120 from a single power feed.

Tempo Industries, a manufacturer of modular and linear LED lighting, has announced its new Series 5000 line of mid-range linear LED lighting solutions. Series 5000 features a compact, articulated design that delivers more than 140 lm/ft and is ideal for retrofit or new construction where smaller scale cove or accent applications are required.

Series 5000 is a 120-volt solution offered in standard linking six-inch modules, and is shipped in up to six-foot lengths that can be joined into runs of up to 120 from a single power feed. The internal power supplies are designed to be serviced in the field. The Series 5000 is dimmable using compatible electronic low voltage (ELV) dimmers.

The new Series 5000 includes environmentally-friendly materials and cove-edge mounting solutions that help simplify design and installation. The die-cast modules are damp location listed, and available in white, red, green and blue. Standard white color temperatures range from 2200K to 3500K.

"The Series 5000 was designed to address cove and wall wash applications that require a high quality articulated linear solution, but that don't demand the 400 to 600 lm/ft found in our popular Series 6000," said Terrence Walsh, president of Tempo. "While engineered to address applications requiring mid-range outputs, our customers will find this new offering still fully incorporates our 'No Factory in the Field' design philosophy that has established Tempo as the company that sets the standard for quality LED-based linear lighting solutions."

Features of the Series 5000 include environmentally-friendly Zamak 3 zinc-alloy construction and a more than 88000hour L70 lifetime projection, with the choice of 90 lm/1.7w per-foot or 140 lm/3.3w per-foot configurations. Tempo's UniBin LED selection process, combined with its articulating interconnect design, delivers consistent color and light distribution whether installed in a straight run, or in a tight radius or corner. The modules are equipped with a clear cast acrylic lens to protect the emitters from dust and incidental contact and are available with a lightly frosted lens to diffuse the light into a wide, uniform distribution.

Available correlated color temperature (CCT) choices for the Series 5000 include 3500K neutral and 2700K warm, as well as "ultra warm" 2200K that has been used in restaurant, entertainment and gaming applications. Mounting options include standard surface tracks or Tempo's cove-edge mounting tracks. All Tempo Industries LED lighting products come with a 5-year warranty.
