Electronic components distributor Digi-Key Corporation and Kingbright Corporation announced today that the companies have entered into a global distribution agreement.

Kingbright is a leading manufacturer of LED lamps, displays, SMD lamps and other LED-related products. The company says that it produces more than 350 million SMD lamps and 200 million through-hole LED lamps per month, and also consumes 120 million LED dice in manufacturing through-hole and SMD displays in the same period.

Kingbright LED products stocked by Digi-Key are featured in its print and online catalogs and are available for purchase directly from Digi-Key. This new distribution agreement will enable Digi-Key to fulfill both the prototype and production requirements of its diverse customer base.
