The company that operates LED Effects has appointed an industry veteran from Acuity to implement growth strategies.

LED Holdings LLC has appointed Zach Gibler as its vice president of business development. LED Holdings owns and operates LED Effects, a designer and manufacturer of custom LED lighting solutions, including digital lighting controls for the architectural, artistic and gaming sectors (see LED Effects acquired, appoints Govi Rao as CEO).

Gibler will lead the company’s marketing and sales efforts in the architectural, OEM and gaming segments where the company has traditional strengths and a reputation for innovation. He will also identify and develop opportunities to expand LED Holdings’ portfolio of lighting solutions and to capitalize on new market opportunities. In addition, Gibler will manage the company’s brand identity and marketing strategy.

Gibler is a lighting industry veteran with more than thirteen years of experience in the field. Prior to joining LED Holdings, Gibler served in a variety of senior roles at Acuity Brands from sales management and marketing to technology development.

“The lighting industry is going through its most radical shift in more than a hundred years, as new technologies drive more efficient, effective and sustainable alternatives to the traditional model,” said Govi Rao, president and CEO of LED Holdings. “In addition to his sharp business acumen and outside-in thinking, Zach brings the experience and entrepreneurial spirit that will help propel LED Holdings into our next growth phase. We are very pleased to have Zach on our team and look forward to his stewardship as we set the pace of this industry transformation.”
