The site will have interviews, videos, photos, and commentary leading up to - and then live from – the event. "We are hoping that anyone interested in LED Lighting can attend LightFair 2010 virtually and get a good idea of what is happening in Vegas," said a spokesperson.
"We also think this Virtual Tradeshow site is a good example of the LED industry embracing social media, and using social media to communicate and engage with its audience of LED manufacturers, architects, educators, and others."
Meanwhile, LEDs Magazine will publish its own Lightfair Daily, written by our Contributing Editor Brian Owen, and sponsored by CRS Electronics. The Lightfair Daily will be posted online or you can pick up a hard copy from the LEDs Magazine booth.
Although Lightfair International normally alternates between New York and Las Vegas, the New York venue is being renovated so next year's event takes place on May 15-19, 2011 in the Pennsylvania Convention Center, in Philadelphia, PA. The tradeshow will be on May 17-19. The event returns to Las Vegas in 2012 (May 9-11).
