Eye Lighting unveils new luminaire design and assembly facility

Date Announced: 27 Jul 2012 Mentor, OH – EYE Lighting International, a leading manufacturer of lamps, luminaires, and related lighting products, today announced the opening of its new 2,000 sq ft Luminaire Design and Assembly Facility with manufacturing and assembly space as well as luminaire design offices.The 1,000 sq ft state-of-the-art cell-manufacturing space is designed for the efficient assembly of LED and HID luminaires, including the kíaroLED family and Urban Act family of HID Architectural Floodlights. The manufacturing space is also a pressure-controlled clean room environment, with anti-static floors, designed specifically for LED storage and assembly. In addition, the space is equipped with fully digital, interactive assembly instructions and bill of materials on adjustable screens at each workstation.“EYE Lighting and our parent company Iwasaki have always been at the forefront of lighting technology development.
