Free NPL consultancy time offered as prize at UK Energy & Lighting Showcase

Date Announced: 30 Aug 2013 The Centre for Carbon Measurement at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) is partnering with the e-Luminate Forum to host the Energy & Lighting Showcase in Cambridge, UK, on 12 September 2013.This free event will raise the profile and promote technology companies in the low-carbon energy and lighting sector. Technology providers will be able to exhibit their technology to a mix of industry, academics and investors, as well as artists and representatives of creative industries.The top three exhibitors on the day will then pitch their technology to the audience, who will vote on their favourite. The winning exhibitor will receive one day's free consultancy time with an NPL scientist.The event is open to those passionate about low carbon energy and/or lighting and who are one of the following: a leader in the sector; a technology innovator; a start-up; an academic in a relevant discipline; an investor; a representative of the creative industries; a consultant.
