U.S. Architectural Lighting introduces Light Nodes, a new series of small, wall-mounted luminaires designed for use with LED and other high efficacy lamps. Light Nodes provide shielded illumination while highlighting a building’s architectural features and illuminating pathways and pedestrian areas.
The mini luminaires are offered in eight traditional and contemporary models, including curvilinear, channeled, angular, stepped shapes and more. The small yet powerful fixtures are 4.5 inches wide by 6.75 or 7 inches in height and 4.25 inches in depth.
Light Nodes accept a wide array of damp and wet location lamps in a range of color temperatures and beam patterns. Lamp sizes up to A19, PAR20, and R20 lamps can be accommodated. Medium base sockets and GU10 and GU24 base models allow for the use of LED, CFL, or standard incandescent and halogen sources in the luminaires.
The one-piece housing is constructed from durable, corrosion-resistant cast aluminum and is available in textured or smooth finishes and a variety of colors including black, white, grey, dark bronze and green. Finishes are electrostatically applied polyester powder coat and baked at 400°F for maximum hardness and durability.
The internal wall mounting plate mounts over a standard 4” junction box and has an adjustable bracket for positioning the lamp deeper in the housing for maximum cut-off or lower in the housing for more forward throw. Light Nodes are UL-listed for wet locations (down). A lamp guard is optional for the luminaires.
