Strategies in Light, co-located with The LED Show and Lightspace California, announced today that Lutron Electronics, Tridonic and Illumra will be anchor sponsors of the new IoT (Internet of Things) Pavilion to be launched at the 2018 event. The interactive pavilion is designed to provide key insights into the rapidly evolving future of smart building solutions and will be open during the exhibition hours of the event, scheduled to take place February 13-15, 2018 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.
"With IoT transforming the future of lighting, we are excited to launch this dedicated area of the show floor to highlight emerging technologies, share new insights and facilitate lucrative networking opportunities," said Mr. Maury Wright, Editor-in-Chief, LEDs Magazine. "With such vast potential in this market, providing a platform for companies to connect and share information is crucial. As leaders in the IoT space, Lutron Electronics, Tridonic and Illumra are excellent additions to the pavilion, bringing smart lighting solutions to life."
The pavilion is exclusive to just eight companies, with limited slots remaining. The pavilion will be complemented by a full track of sessions in the Conference Program covering such topics as data capabilities, creating value in IoT, privacy and security, Bluetooth mesh specification, market disruptors, connected cities, interoperability issues and more.
"With the changing market, a conference of this kind is essential in sharing insights, best practices and lessons learned, as well as discussing how the market moves forward and what companies need to do to stay competitive and poised for growth," said Mr. Philip Smallwood, Research Director for Strategies Unlimited and Conference Chair of the "Connected Lighting at the Center of IoT" track.
In addition to IoT, Strategies in Light and The LED Show will also address such themes as thriving in a disrupted lighting market, technology innovation to support market growth and the latest on lighting design and applications. With a record-setting attendance in 2017, the 2018 conference is expected to attract more than 5,500 attendees, including lighting manufacturers, lighting distributors, end users of LED lighting products, lighting specifiers, facility managers, lighting designers, lighting architects and more.
