ACC Silicones have just hosted their 4th European Electronics Distributor Conference in the historical city of Vienna, capital of Austria.
This biennial event brought the ACC Silicones’ technical, sales & marketing teams together with 15 distributors from 15 European countries. Highlighting the importance of this event members of the ICM Silicones Group senior management team located in the US joined the meeting, including the VP of Technology and the CEO, Mr Jim Cottington.
The conference provided a platform for formally sharing market information, application successes and new product development, through a series of presentations. In addition, the opportunity for networking and more informal communication was provided while enjoying a guided tour of Vienna, a wine tasting session at one of the region’s leading wineries, and some traditional Austrian cuisine.
During the conference an award and prize was presented to Amitronic from Finland - the distributor with the highest percentage sales growth during 2016. The award was presented by Mr Frank Geerdsen - VP Sales & Marketing, ICM Silicones Group. He stated “Our distributors have played a key role in the expansion of our company and we greatly value their hard work and dedication. This award is one way that we can show our appreciation.”
