Ceramic heat plates in Alumina Oxide or Alumina Nitride are the perfect tool to spread the heat away from the LED chip or package while still allowing for multilayer circuits. Either print conductors directly on the ceramic substrate (ceramic PCB) or place it again a rigid PCB with thermal vias to spread the heat and to reduce the thermal resistance with the heatsink interface.
