Rostehnadzor has permitted the use of AtomSvet ® lighting fixtures at nuclear power stations

April 15, 2014
Following the certification for compliance with the CE (European Conformity) and GS (Proven Security) requirements, AtomSvet’s next step in confirming their high standard of design and manufacturing was obtaining Rostehnadzor licences for designing and manufacturing LED lighting fixtures for nuclear power plants in February 2014.
These licences confirm that for five years AtomSvet has the right to produce its own design LED lighting fixtures that can be used in energy-efficient lighting systems at nuclear power stations. The set of AtomSvet permit documentation is one of the most complete among Russian manufacturers of LED lighting fixtures. We recall that in 2013 AtomSvet became the only Russian industrial LED lighting manufacturer whose products met the CE (European Conformity) and GS (Proven Security) requirements of the certification body TÜV SÜD, Germany. In addition, AtomSvet received an RoHS certificate which confirms the ecological safety of AtomSvet® lighting fixtures.
Note: Rostehnadzor Permission for Use (permission of the Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision) is an official permission issued to the applicant. The permission confirms the possibility of operation of equipment at hazardous production facilities of coal mining, gas and oil producing, metallurgical and other industries.
