San Marcos, TEXAS (July 14, 2014) - Wimberley Glassworks, Texas’ premier hand blown glass lighting and art glass studio, has installed its most recent endeavor, The River of Glass, in the newly constructed Granite Briarpark Green Building in Houston, Texas. Wimberley Glassworks’ blown glass lighting is exquisitely presented in both the north and south lobbies.
The River of Glass was completed in September of 2013 and was inspired by the beautiful aqua blue of the Blanco River. Spanning over one hundred feet, the conceptual watercourse is intended to provide the building with more than something spectacular to look at. The River of Glass also provides a natural sense of flow and direction for the traffic of people entering and exiting the building.
The new installation is another presentation of how Wimberley Glassworks can bring art to light while providing appeal to commercial properties.
