The InSite Group Lights Up New Copper Cellar Restaurant; Brightens facilities and drives down energy and maintenance costs

LED lighting upgrade transforms guest experience at the new Riverside Calhoun’s in Oak Ridge, Tennessee and reduces overall energy consumption

Knoxville, Tennessee – The InSite Group announced that it was retained by The Copper Cellar Corporation for the comprehensive project management and implementation of converting all exterior lighting into energy saving LED lighting technology for the company’s newest Calhoun’s Restaurant located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

In addition to other upgrades at the water front restaurant, Copper Cellar is investing in the latest energy saving technology by converting their parking lot lighting to LED. LEDs consume less electricity than legacy lighting systems, are practically maintenance free, and even reduce CO2 emissions. With the LED lighting upgrade, Copper Cellar anticipates significant savings in energy and maintenance costs annually.

The InSite Group, based in Knoxville, Tennessee, is coordinating all aspects of the conversion, including removal of the old light fixtures and installation of the new LED fixtures. The InSite Group coordinates lighting conversions across the United States for national clients and is proud to use their expertise for a local icon. Copper Cellar has indicated that they may roll-out the technology to some of the remaining properties in their portfolio.

Ed Britton, CEO at The InSite Group says, "Through a rigorous specification process we decided to employ Hubbell Lighting’s ASL series fixtures.” The ASL series contains 8 to 24 high output LEDs to accommodate various lighting requirements.
