LSG partners with Callenberg to develop marine-qualified LED lights

Date Announced: 09 Feb 2007 DALLAS -- Lighting Science Group Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: LSGP - News; LSG), a leading provider of energy efficient and environmentally responsible lighting solutions, and Callenberg Engineering Inc., a division of Callenberg Group, a leading supplier of electrical, automation and HVAC systems to the marine and offshore markets, have partnered to jointly develop Light Emitting Diode (LED) light bulbs and fixtures that meet the rigorous requirements to withstand life at sea.Currently the two companies are working to develop LED luminaires, bollard fixtures, down light fixtures and LED replacement lamps for the marine industry. Callenberg will market and distribute this new technology to the marine industry under the Lighting Science brand.
