With the introduction of the HF² family of LED modules, OSRAM SYLVANIA offers a new variety of unique and stylish lighting solutions for general illumination applications. With better efficacy than incandescent or tungsten halogen light sources, the OSRAM SYLVANIA HF² modules have an average rated service life up to 50,000 hours when temperature at the Tc point is maintained at 40°C. For general lighting applications, this translates to better color consistency and greater flexibility to select the appropriate white light for each specific application. In continuing its leadership in the lighting industry by providing complete system solutions, OSRAM SYLVANIA offers OPTOTRONIC® constant voltage or constant current power supplies specially designed to operate the HF² modules.HF²ChainThe HF²Chain is an LED alternative to traditional neon sources, providing advantages over the neon sources such as reduced manufacturing and maintenance cost, durability, and small size. The Chain LED module is ideally suited to fit contours and curves typical to advertising spaces and channel letters as well as for general signage applications.This versatile system packages hi-flux LED light sources in an extremely flat module enabling the design of smaller sleeker signs. Available in a 12-foot chain with 18 metal core circuit boards, each board consists of two hi-flux LEDs for a total of 36 LEDs per chain. Conformally coated to protect against moisture, dripping water and condensation, the HF²Chain also has a 120 degree viewing angle to provide uniform illumination. HF²StickThe Hi-Flux 2nd generation stick contains six hi-flux LEDs providing 375 lumens per foot. With a forward emitting luminous flux comparable to that of many fluorescent lamp fixtures, the HF²Stick may be used in place of fluorescent specialty applications such as shelf lighting, refrigerator case lighting, and display cases.The hi-flux module lives on a metal core circuit board, with each end of the board containing connectors to allow for easy installation when used with the HF²Stick connector systems. HF²Stick XBThe HF²Stick XB brings new possibilities to white light applications as an eXtra Bright alternative to the HF²Stick, to be used wherever strong illumination is needed such as street lighting, display lighting, under cabinet, and cove lighting. With four hi-flux LEDs on a metal core board, the HF²Stick XB provides up to 47 lumens per watt. The board to board connections on the HF²Stick XB allow for easy installation of up to 11 boards.HF²EyeA compact hi-flux LED light source with an on-board optic for spotlighting applications, the HF²Eye is a sleek, innovative light source designed for compact fixtures. This module offers bright and intense light for spotlighting applications such as outdoor accent and landscape lighting, display shelves, under cabinet lighting, and reading lights.The HF²Eye consists of a hi-flux LED enclosed in a metal housing, which acts as a heatsink. The metal housing allows for a 20,000 hour service life without the need for additional heatsinking. It comes pre-wired with polarized wires for easy installation.HF²LinearThe Hi-Flux 2nd generation Linear module, with integral thermal management and optics, contains six hi-flux LEDs, providing 350 lumens per foot. Similar to the HF²Stick, this module has a forward emitting luminous flux comparable to that of many fluorescent lamp fixtures and may be specified for fluorescent specialty applications such as shelf lighting, refrigerator and freezer case lighting, and display cases.HF²XUsed for spotlighting applications, the new HF2X LED modules offer bright and intense light for specialty illumination, including architectural, retail, and solar luminaires and fixtures. This compact hi-flux LED light source with an on-board optic has a sleek, innovative light source design for unique compact fixtures.HF²Flood with 25 degree opticsThe HF²Flood LED modules, with twenty-five degree optics, are available in four color temperatures with a luminous intensity of up to 700 candelas for white light. A compact and innovative hi-flux LED light source, HF²Flood comes pre-wired with 15.7 inch polarized cables. The 25 degree beam angle makes the module ideal for use in down lighting, accent lighting, vehicle cabin lighting, and solar powered installations.
