Date Announced: 17 May 2007New York, N.Y., May 9, 2007 – Hydrel Lighting, a division of Acuity Brands Lighting Group, has won the best new product award in the category of pool, spa and fountain lighting for their 60W color changing LED fixture which utilizes Dialight’s Spectramix® technology.Unveiled to the public yesterday at the LightFair International 2007 trade show in New York City, the fixture is the result of over two years of extensive collaboration between Sylmar, Calif.-based Hydrel and Farmingdale, N.J-based Dialight. Operating off standard DMX or Ethernet control protocols, the fixtures create dynamic color changing effects in pool and fountain applications.
