Lighthouse shows HD screens at InfoComm 2007

June 8, 2007
Date Announced: 08 Jun 2007 US – 8th June 2007 – The leading LED screen manufacturer Lighthouse Technologies will once again be showing its world-class giant video displays on booth 7043 at InfoComm from 19th to 21st June in Anaheim, California. The company will have its three best-selling products on display: R4, R6-III and R10-II. R4 is a 4mm pixel pitch display, Lighthouse’s finest pixel pitch to date. Its ultra-high resolution addresses the continuing demand for high definition screens and it includes remote monitoring of LED failure, power failure and temperature. R4 adopts the fanless approach of the super-quiet R10 screen and this, along with its lightweight, makes it ideally suited to networked five-star boutique applications. The benefits of this ultra-high resolution product have been recognized by Lighthouse’s R4 rental customer, Andrew Gumpter of New York-based AG Light & Sound, who has already used them to great effect at the recent Maxim Hot 100 celebration and at Lightfair International, both held in his home city. R6-III’s 6mm pixel pitch display incorporates Lighthouse’s proprietary Uniformity Control, developed to guarantee that the color balance of every pixel and the brightness of every LED lamp is identical, ensuring uniformity to an exceptional level. This allows R6-III to be employed extensively for indoor applications such as the highly competitive world of motor shows.Meanwhile, the super-quiet R10-II 10mm pixel pitch screen, with its fanless design, keeps noise levels to an absolute minimum. This is beneficial for both rental and installed applications such as TV studio, corporate boardrooms, company lobbies and fashion retail shops. All three of these products have the same physical dimensions, allowing them to be assembled together to form a screen of variable pixel pitch, which offers a vast amount of creative opportunities. The super-wide vertical and horizontal viewing angles provide excellent video images from all angles and the 2000 Nits of brightness are sufficient for semi-outdoor applications, such as behind shop windows or in sunlit atriums.“InfoComm is traditionally an excellent show for Lighthouse Technologies,” says managing director, Mark Chan. “This year, we are once again able to showcase our premier products, which are sure to attract the same amount of attention in the US as they did in Europe earlier this year at ISE in Amsterdam.”
