Date Announced: 02 Aug 2007 Rapid has recently extended its range of power LED products from the pioneering Taiwan-based Edison Opto Corp.Over one hundred lines are now available, ex-stock, ranging from the competitively priced 1W Edixeon stars and emitters through to the 700 lumens 20W EdiPower devices. All are available in red, green and blue, white and warm white.In addition to these components, a range of ready-made solutions are available in the form of metal clad PCBs. Strips and circular boards populated with white and RGB devices offer a simplified route to applying LED technology into lighting designs.Furthermore Rapid’s range includes retrofit MR-16 lamps, 5W EdiPower devices mounted in an aluminium housing which can be used in place of halogen dichroic lamps.
