OSRAM SYLVANIA, known for delivering quality, performance products to form sustainable lighting solutions, designed the ULTRA Series of LED-based lamps to be direct replacements for standard incandescent, halogen and compact fluorescent (CFL) lamps. As a second-generation series, the ULTRA LED lamps offer increased lumen output, dimming functionality, attractive family styling and indoor/outdoor ratings. Mercury and lead free, ULTRA High Performance Series LEDs are an environmentally preferable alternative to existing light sources, and are suitable for commercial and residential applications.ULTRA High Performance Series LEDsOSRAM SYLVANIA LED lamps provide equivalent light output and superior color quality to serve as effective replacements for conventional light sources. By retrofitting with SYLVANIA ULTRA High Performance LED lamps, you can maintain the quality of light of incandescent and halogen lamps, while tremendously reducing energy and maintenance costs. SYLVANIA High Performance LED lamps offer high color rendering index (CRI). This ensures that the lighting experience found using SYLVANIA LED lamps will match that of incandescent and halogen lamps. Additional features of the SYLVANIA ULTRA High Performance LED lamps include increased lumen output, dimming functionality, attractive family styling and indoor/outdoor ratings. With these added features, there is a SYLVANIA ULTRA High Performance LED lamp suitable for almost every application. Additionally, SYLVANIA ULTRA High Performance LED lamps offer proven reliability and safety assurance. All SYLVANIA LED lamps are mercury and lead free, UL listed and FCC compliant.The FamilyThe most recognizable and most used residential lamp is the A-Line lamp. The new SYLVANIA 8W LED A-Line is an energy efficient alternative to a 40W incandescent A-line bulb, which is typically found in table lamps, ceiling and wall mounted light fixtures. LED technology allows this lamp to use only a fifth of the energy an incandescent bulb consumes, translating to 80 percent energy savings per lamp. The new LED A-Line lasts sixteen times longer than an incandescent bulb and six times longer than CFLs. It features high CRI, along with dimming capabilities making this LED A-Line a high quality replacement for the home. PAR lamps have long comprised a large portion of commercial and residential lamp sockets. In this new line of ULTRA High Performance LED lamps, OSRAM SYLVANIA has also included a retrofit lamp for 75W Halogen PAR38 lamps. This LED PAR38 generates a standard 25° flood beam with a CBCP (center beam candle power) at 3100cd. It consumes 18 watts of power and offers nearly 76 percent energy savings over the 75W Halogen PAR38 flood lamp. Halogen lamps are well known for their exceptional CRI and color superiority, and SYLVANIA’s ULTRA LED lamp is intended to match halogen color rendering, to deliver an equally high quality of light. The ULTRA High Performance LED PAR family also includes PAR30 Long Neck, PAR20, and an LED MR16. For more decorative applications, the ULTRA High Performance Series also includes LED retrofit lamps for A17 and G25 (globe shape) incandescent and halogen lamps. These LED retrofit lamps can be used in any application that you would find their incandescent/halogen counterparts, but offer up to 80 percent energy savings and a significantly longer life (up to 33 times). For applications that demand a more focused light, OSRAM SYLVANIA offers PAR30 and PAR38 narrow beam options. This fall, four additional beam angles will be available within the product portfolio including 7°, 10°, 12°, 15° beam angles.
