University of Texas Adds Two-Sided Outdoor Video Marquee at Frank Erwin Center on I-35

(Nasdaq - DAKT) announced today, in conjunction with the University of Texas athletic department, the addition of a unique LED marquee that is helping to promote Texas athletic events and other happenings at the Frank Erwin Center in Austin. The display was installed and made its debut in April 2010.The new video marquee is located adjacent to Interstate 35 at the Frank Erwin Center, home to the University of Texas men’s and women’s basketball programs. It measures approximately 23 feet high by 24 feet wide and provides ultra-wide viewing angles and unrivaled contrast. The marquee will keep students, athletes and University of Texas supporters informed of upcoming events and on-campus activities.Daktronics has provided an integrated scoring and video system inside the Frank Erwin Center, with fans being entertained and informed during basketball games by digital LED centerhung and ribbon displays.
