Date Announced: 14 Oct 2010 Lynk Labs Inc., the leading supplier of AC LED packages, assemblies, modules and AC LED Lamps has received UL approval on the company’s GeoLite line of AC LED Festoon lamps. The 0.5 watt Geolite Festoon lamps replace standard 5W Xenon festoons used in low voltage general lighting, require no change over of transformers and are fully dimmable with standard dimmers specified to match the existing transformers.The 0.5 watt AC LED Festoon Lamps are available in 12V AC and 24V AC in several standard CCT’s including 2700K, 3000K and 4000K. Other CCT’s are available as special order. The AC LED Festoon lamps work on several forms of standard festoon sockets “Depending on the Xenon festoon being replaced, the GeoLite Festoon AC LED lamps cost can cost only 2-4x more than the Xenon version yet reduce the power by a factor of 10x” said David Yakich, Sales Director at Lynk Labs. Applications include Cove Lighting, Accent Lighting, Display Lighting and more. The GeoLite AC LED Festoon lamps are available through Lynk Labs, select OEM and Distribution sales.
