(Nasdaq: VECO), announced today that Epistar Corporation, headquartered in Taiwan, placed a multi-tool order for Veeco's TurboDisc(R) K465i(TM) gallium nitride (GaN) Metal Organic Chemical Vapor Deposition (MOCVD) Systems for high volume light emitting diode (LED) production.
