As the first release in a family of LED lighting systems by SYLVANIA, the LEDstixx Lighting System features a fully enclosed LED lighting solution with optics that are optimized for the requirements of vertical freezer case and refrigeration applications. Each five-foot-long LEDstixx Lighting System contains 18 high-flux LEDs to produce a light output of 1000 lumens using just 24 watts. A lower wattage unit for lower light level applications or for end of freezer case applications is also available at only 14 watts. The LEDstixx is instant-on with no warm-time for full light output, making it ideal for energy-saving control strategies, and offers enhanced light quality with better uniformity and color performance, compared to traditional fluorescent lamps.The LEDstixx Lighting System features standard bi-pin bases, allowing for easy retrofit into existing T8 or T12 fluorescent fixtures, reducing installation time and labor costs. A bracketed hardwired version is also available. The system’s long life, estimated at 50,000 hours, also reduces maintenance and replacement costs, and cuts down recycling waste. Additionally, the LED system features polarity-protected circuitry to minimize the risk of damage in a reversed wired installation.The energy-efficient LEDstixx Lighting System is a revolutionary lighting solution for vertical freezer case and refrigeration applications. It contains no mercury or lead, and does not produce any UV or IR emissions, making it the most environmentally preferable replacement for traditional freezer case lighting technologies, while reducing energy consumption and costs.
