Date Announced: 02 Jun 2010 Northvale, NJ – RAB Lighting is excited to announce an affordable LED floodlight called the LFLOOD.RAB LED fixtures are designed around affordability and performance, making LED outdoor lighting available to a larger market. In addition to an affordable initial cost, the total cost of ownership of the LFLOOD is low due to the elimination of multiple lamp changes and a significant reduction in energy consumption.The LFLOOD is available in 10W and 13W configurations. The 13W LED compares to a 100W PAR38 in Halogen or Metal Halide and the 10W compares to a 60W PAR38 Halogen, creating a potential energy reduction of up to 70%.LFLOOD has a five-year warranty, is UL Listed for Wet Locations and the 13W LFLOOD has earned the Department of Energy’s Lighting Facts Label. RAB Lighting has applied for the Lighting Facts Label for the 10W LFLOOD based on LM-79 testing. LM-80 data and L70 Determination data is available upon request. Current LM-80 data indicates that the LED will reach 70% of initial output at more than 50,000hrs for the 13W and approximately 50,000hrs for the 10W.The LFLOOD is a patent pending design with a field-switchable reflector for spot or flood applications and a glare shield for effective light control. It is mounted to a rugged 1/2” threaded arm with stainless steel screws, integral gasket and an EZ-Grip locknut, color-matched to the fixture. The die-cast aluminum housing is available in four colors: architectural bronze, verde green, white and black. The design of the LFLOOD is protected under U.S. and international intellectual property laws.
