Lemnis Lighting launches in-house technical services division

Date Announced: 15 Jun 2010 SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- Lemnis Lighting™ today reinforced its position in the LED marketplace with the launch of a new subsidiary company for the production of LED light sources. The new company - called Lemnis Technical Services - will function as a research center for the R&D of innovative energy efficient lighting solutions, and will produce and supply the electronics that are required to control and operate these light sources.Based in IJsselstein, The Netherlands, Lemnis Technical Services boasts a state of the art facility including clean rooms and fully automatic production lines, which will be used to manufacture light sources for LED products. Lemnis currently markets an array of products under the Pharox name, including LED bulbs for domestic use, lighting for public spaces, greenhouse lighting and solar products. With an experienced team already in place and production lines up and running, Lemnis Technical Services is ready to supply light sources for the complete range of Pharox products and Lemnis' outdoor lighting products. Combined with significant investment increases in Q1, the establishing of this new Technical Services division puts Lemnis Lighting squarely at the forefront of the rapidly growing LED lighting applications sector.
