With the award of the GSA Contract Infinilux, Inc. will be able to support government customers through the GSA Advantage! program as well as provide their innovative SSL luminaires to military and support organizations. Participation in direct government sales will expand Infinilux, Inc. reach to a broader array of government opportunities with its’ innovative offering of LED low bay lighting. The patents-pending LB series is the first approved solid-state light of its kind by the US government and marks the first of over a dozen products to be considered. The LB series is a vandal proof, shock resistant, dust and water proof luminaire that is suitable for a wide range of applications including: parking garages, aircraft hangers, warehouses, utility rooms, motor pools, covered walk ways, kiosk stations and general lighting. GSA approval also provides a level of vetting for non-government customers for projects bound by the provisions of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA). The approved products have been shown to meet the strict guidelines of both the Buy American Act 2009 (BAA) and the Trade Agreements Act (TTA). This extra measure of verification lends an additional level of consumer-confidence to Infinilux’s entire product line. Aside form clear carbon foot print reduction; the reduction in maintenance cycles will also provide a tangible savings for the government as the Infinilux LED low bay units have an expected maintenance cycle exceeding 50,000 hours (100,000 hours to L70 at Ta=25°c). The driver section is UL listed and has integrated, auto-recovery over-voltage, transient (ANSI C62.41 Class A) and short/overload protection. The entire driver section of the LB series is “plug and play” serviceable, and requires no special tools or fixtures for field service. “With complete independent third party testing to industry standards, LM-79-08 and LM80, as well as an official Lighting Facts Label made the LB series a easy choice for the GSA," commented Anthony Vilgiate, Infinilux, Inc.
