Date Announced: 27 Jan 2010 Stanley Electric Co Ltd of Japan has introduced part number VSEW1154LDS, a high reliability white PLCC-2 package for general lighting and automotive applications. With an optical efficiency of 64lm/watt this a high output for a PLCC2 package (Size 3.2x2.8x1.9 (mm). This LED is part of a range of 4 devices, each varying in its light output for the required application.With a viewing angle of 1200 the device is attractive to backlighting applications; indication and illumination applications and with Stanley’s famous v prefix it is designed too meet the demanding required in the automotive sector. Equally usable for general applications where brightness and reliability are factors for consideration. The temperature range the LED can operate in will add its usability. Suitable for General lighting, office and domestic lighting, sw lighting, meter lighting applications were reliability and temperature is a major consideration. Datasheets are available on line.
