Date Announced: 15 Jan 2010 Prof. Dr. Harald Ries, founder and former chairman of the supervisory board of OEC AG, was appointed as new CEO from the beginning of this year. Harald Ries is replacing Rainer Jetter. Elected to the supervisory board was Mr. Elmar Schiffelholz. The supervisory board is now chaired by Dr. Christian Hoess. Dr.Angelika Hofmann has joined OEC AG as new optical designer.Board of directors:The supervisory board and the shareholders would like to thank the previous CEO, Mr. Rainer Jetter, for his work and commitment. Elmar Schiffelholz is founder of the company Mandora Business Solution GmbH, Munich.New employee:Dr. Angelika Hofmann is a physicist. Before joining OEC AG, she has been working for Agfa Gevaert Healthcare GmbH. Angelika Hofmann will support the team of optical designers. Dr. Hofmann has longstanding experience in working with CODE V® and the development of industrial optics.OEC AG is a leading service provider for optical design. We focus on the field of llumination optics, in which we have wide experience and use unique mathematical tools. Currently, our team consists of seven physicists and engineers. We provide optical systems design from idea to start of production, working in close collaboration with our customers. Our approaches are rooted in scientific research, hence we areable to incorporate the most recent findings into our work, thereby offering novel solutions. Because we support our customers in product development until serial production, we understand how to provide the results of our work conforming to industrial standards.
