State-of-the Art Entertainment Venue, The O2 Dublin, has purchased an outdoor Large Screen solution from Ireland’s leading LED screen specialists, SETANTA SCREENS.
The O2 Dublin has installed a permanent outdoor 12.5 Sq. Metre LED screen outside the venue, located at the East-Link roundabout on Dublin’s North Quays. The structure, installed over just 6 days, also houses over 20 Sq Metres of Dynamic branding for Venue sponsors O2 and is unique to Ireland.
Built and finished to the highest standards, The O2 screen is designed to operate in all extremes of weather. Content is controlled remotely, in real-time, via a web-based broadcast system, and will operate twenty-four hours per day, seven days per week. The installation is capable of carrying all forms of media from text, RSS to live and recorded video.
Ronan O’Kelly, CEO of Setanta Screens says, “It is great to deliver a world-class solution here in our home market. The O2 is an amazing venue, and for our installation to be part of the public face of the arena helps to illustrate both the value of our products and the abilities of our team”.
Mike Adamson of Live Nation, owners and operators of The O2 says “As part of our public information remit, this screen is perfect, The Setanta team did a great job and the quality of the screen and structure really send out the right message reflecting the world of live entertainment we represent. It’s a real step-up from the more standard billboard-type displays in both quality and clarity".
Jill Keene of the O2 says,” The screen is one of the features of The O2 that makes it stand out. It really looks the part and lets people know not only what’s going on at The O2, but what kind of technology and quality of finish people can expect inside the doors.”
