A full line of LED products is planned. The company is showcasing over 30 prototypes, ranging from reflector lamps to recessed cans and fixtures. “Many lighting industry veterans rushed into LEDs without waiting for the technology to develop properly to ensure maximum performance and reliability,” stated Bill Gildin, President of SATCO Products, Inc. “SATCO has been watching the technology and the market evolve, and is strongly positioned to deliver high performing LED products that advance the industry standards.” LEDs feature lower starting temperatures, and a large range of color temperature and CRI options. Since LEDs do not use mercury to operate, they are widely considered to be more environmentally friendly than incandescent lighting.
