The program is aimed at conserving energy and helping to stimulate customers to go green.“Cities and municipalities know their residents want to live in areas that are environmentally friendly and are active in sustainability and energy-saving initiatives,” said ilumisys President Dave Simon. “The LED market is growing rapidly; and by reducing barriers to installation, our commercial grade lighting technology leads the way for increased adoption of alternative lighting.”In addition to providing an energy-efficient alternative, unlike the fluorescent tubes they replace, the ilumisys tubes are mercury free.
