Date Announced: 25 Apr 2009 Seoul -- The conference program at LED EXPO/FLAT PANEL DISPLAY KOREA is going green in 2009. Power saving technologies, eco friendly components, and energy savings manufacturing processes will be featured topics at the three day series of forums and seminars that will run concurrently with the LED EXPO/ FPD KOREA 2009 exhibition on May 20-23 in Seoul, Korea.“Green technology is today’s economic imperative,” said Mun Ok-hyun, director of the LED EXPO Secretariat. “The gathering of industry thought leaders that we’ve put together for this conference will provide a measure of the pace and direction of the coming green revolution in lighting and display,” he added.This year the conference will add a new component – a one-day series of “Short Courses” that will allow speakers an extended presentation time to delve deeper into subject areas that are at the cutting edge of industry development. The conference will also continue its Technical Seminars -- presenting new product and technology innovations -- and the Executive Forum -- offering “big picture” projections of the future of the LED and FPD industries.As in last year’s program, Shuji Nakamura, LED blue light inventor, will be among the “who’s who” roster of industry speakers.
