Date Announced: 12 Jul 2009 Cardiff, UK -- IQE, the leading supplier of contract Epitaxial wafer growth services for the Optoelectronic, Solar, and Solid-State (LED) lighting industries is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian VanOrsdel as Director of North American Sales and Strategic Accounts for its optoelectronic Product Portfolio.Brian has more than 20 years of sales management experience in Optoelectronic and Telecom technologies at such companies as Epitaxx and JDSU, and most recently at Bookham, Inc. as Strategic Accounts Manger.He will be based in New York and responsible for continuing to expand IQE’s significant business in the US and Canada offering IQE’s comprehensive epitaxial services in wafer applications utilizing InP, InGaAs, GaAs, GaN, AlInGaAs, AlInGaP, InGaAsP, SiGe, and Silcon made using MOCVD, MBE, and CVD growth technologies at IQE’s manufacturing/epi-reactor sites in the US, UK, and Singapore.
