Date Announced: 29 Oct 2009 The first flexible integratable daytime running lights have been presented by Hella, the lighting and electronic specialists.The new LEDayflex, is an international innovation and based on a modular approach. The ECE sample-tested installation shapes can be selected individually from the varying lengths of LED Daytime running light chains. “This is both practical and allows room for creative design,” said a Hella spokesperson. “The use of daytime running lights, which will be obligatory for all new vehicles in ECE countries from 2011, increases visibility and safety in traffic.” The specific advantages of this most modern LED technology, such as high energy efficiency and long lifetimes enables the LEDayFlex to offer significant benefits to both drivers and the environment.
