Date Announced: 09 Oct 2009 XiTlight has now been independently tested to BS EN 62262:2002 Degrees of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts (IK code).XiTlight withstood an impact energy of 75 Joules and is accredited with a rating of IK10+75.Road and street lighting has to pass an impact test of 0.7 joules (IK05).
