The devices of this LED series are able to withstand a high operating temperature of up to 110°C setting a benchmark for similar competitor’s products. This miniature LED series use an industrial standard 0603 (S-Spice) package outline with a package height of only 0.6mm! Its small, efficient and highly reliable design has a superb wide viewing angle of 160° with enhanced thermal dissipation capability via its copper base. This SpiceLED package shows proof for an exemplary integration of a copper lead frame and a high temperature resistant epoxy resin encapsulation enabling this LED series to be driven at such high ambient temperature conditions.SSx-HLD-xxx is available in blue and true green color. It provides an 180mcd typical luminous intensity in blue and 450mcd typical in true green at 20mA.
