(NASDAQ Capital Market: NEXS) today announced that it priced its follow-on public offering of 5,000,000 shares of common stock at $3.00 per share on December 15, 2009. The closing of the public offering is subject to customary closing conditions and the shares are expected to be delivered on December 21, 2009. Nexxus Lighting has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 750,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price to cover any over-allotments. Nexxus Lighting currently expects to use the net proceeds of this offering for working capital and general corporate purposes, including the planned growth of its Array™ Lighting LED replacement lamp business, as well as the repayment of certain indebtedness.
