TerraLUX appoints Milz to lead business development effort in LED general lighting

Date Announced: 22 Sep 2009 BOULDER, Colo. -- TerraLUX Inc. has announced that Mr. Erik Milz has joined its leadership team as Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Milz will be responsible for crafting the strategies and forging key relationships that will continue to fuel the adoption of TerraLUX Embedded Light Modules and controls in the rapidly emerging LED general lighting business. Mr. Milz has an extensive history in LED lighting. He was most recently responsible for general illumination segment marketing at leading LED manufacturer Philips Lumileds. In this role, Mr. Milz worked extensively with leading lighting OEM manufacturers to determine the features, strategies and partnerships that will accelerate the adoption of LEDs as the de-facto standard in future lighting systems. He has an MBA from Oakland University and has held key sales and marketing positions in leading automotive lighting suppliers.
