XL Video and Barco partner to make the U2 360° tour a worldwide success

After a triumphant European start, the tour's multi-city US leg begins on 12 September at Soldier Field in Chicago.For opening night in Soldier Field, U2 sold out all 65,000 tickets in a matter of minutes, and based on the demand, the band had to schedule an extra show on September 13th. The centerpiece of the U2 360° tour is the world's first transformable LED screen, comprised of over 500,000 Barco FLX LED modules. For the third time this millennium, the close cooperation between XL Video and Barco has resulted in revolutionary shows for U2, each with sets comprised of LED arrays previously unseen in the events industry. The shows are the result of months of intense technical and creative collaboration.
